So What’s the Craic?

Our Ireland singing journey weaves music, culture and breathtaking landscapes into an unforgettable adventure. We begin in vibrant Dublin before travelling through historic towns such as Trim and onward to the wild beauty of the west, with stays in welcoming destinations like Westport and beyond.

Along the way, we’ll explore some of Ireland’s most iconic sites — from lively Galway to the ancient limestone expanses of the Burren and the sweeping cliffs of Moher. Each day offers a balance of discovery and musical immersion: singing sessions with local choirs, informal pop-up performances, and opportunities to share songs in intimate spaces.

Our leaders bring a rich musical tapestry to the experience. Suze Pratton will guide us through a diverse repertoire, including Australian Indigenous songs she has permission to share with wider communities. Moira Smiley, whose background spans Early Music and folk traditions from early American to Irish and Balkan, is also warmly admired by choir communities across Ireland — bringing an immediate sense of connection and welcome wherever she teaches.

Evenings bring the magic of Irish hospitality — gathering in cosy pubs, listening to (and joining!) traditional music sessions, and connecting deeply with the people and culture of this remarkable country.

This trip will not be rushed, a rich, soulful experience of song, story and place awaits.
